Having been chosen as a recipient of the Green Scholarship Program has been a great help to me. My parents’ financial situation is very poor. They have six children. My father works as a mason’s helper and my mother cleans offices to obtain an extra income. I have to work after school at the movie theater in Puerto Paraíso so I can be financially independent and not a burden to my parents. I am also a volunteer at the Red Cross in Cabo San Lucas. I am going to study Business Administration. My dream is to get a good job so my mother doesn't have to work anymore. She has cancer and her health is not good. I always try to achieve the goals I set for myself and in this case it is to graduate from college and get the education to which my parents never had access.
