CORE VALUES

The Green Scholarship Program (GSP) is proud to have built a strong program showcasing its values to our scholars and our community:

  • Self reliance: We work hard and with passion to meet our goals and help more students each year.

  • Responsibility & Accountability: We are able and willing to fulfill our obligations to our scholars and to continue to improve our program each academic year.
  • Reliability: We are responsible citizens wanting to havea better community and a better Mexico for generations to come.
  • Social awareness: We believe in encouraging our students to maintain a positive attitude, to exhibit winning life skills along with gaining knowledge and maturity.
  • Commitment: We plan to continue helping our community for there is a huge need of education. The most important way of moving forward by producing educated and enlightened citizens.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS

  • Mandate: Serve those who have the desire and capability to pursuit academic excellence through institutions of higher learning who are also in need of financial assistance because of their social or economic circumstances.
  • Education: We believe that it is the best means to empower young people to become more independent and to participate more fully to the benefit of our society.
  • Strategy: We have the responsibility to execute the Foundation's core education programs effectively and to develop new ones. We realize that our resources are limited and, in order to be most effective, we must concentrate our efforts to make the most of our resources. We must also constantly re-evaluate and improve our programming, and change or replace non-core programs when we find alternatives offering a better combination of value and effectiveness.
  • Additional Programs: We do more than provide scholarship aid to economically challenged students. We also seek to identify niche areas which may have been overlooked or under funded by other educational foundations. We seek ways to amplify the impact of our programs through cooperation with other organizations.
